Questions parents ask.
How do we pay tuition?
Tuition is paid monthly by Zelle to (512) 483-1300. When you send, add your student's name and the month in the memo so we can credit it to your account. Once you're enrolled, you'll also find a "Show payment info" button inside the parent portal with step-by-step instructions.
What are the tuition rates?
Private lessons run $130–$240/month depending on length: 30-min $130, 45-min $200, 60-min $240. Monthly tuition covers four lessons and is paid in advance. A single drop-in lesson is $35. New students pay a one-time $15 registration fee, and studio recitals are $40 per student. See the Lessons & tuition section for details.
How do we stop lessons if we need to?
We just ask for one week's advance notice before your student's last lesson. There's no long-term contract — enrollment is month-to-month.
What's the policy if we miss or cancel a lesson?
Please give at least 24 hours' advance notice to cancel a scheduled lesson. With enough notice we'll try to offer a make-up based on teacher availability. Make-ups aren't guaranteed and depend on the schedule.
Does my child need a piano at home?
A keyboard is perfectly fine to start — most beginners do. As your student grows we recommend upgrading to a full 88-key weighted instrument (or an acoustic piano) so their technique keeps developing. If you're not sure what to buy, just ask and we'll help you choose.
What ages and levels do you teach?
All ages and levels are welcome — from first-time young beginners to adults rediscovering the piano. Lessons are tailored to each student's pace.
